Beneath Strange Stars is a big bang event dedicated to Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart and is a celebration of how they always find their way back to one another, even in new and uncharted worlds.
2022 Big Bang: Complete!
All stories and art created for the Big Bang must be new. You are welcome to continue working on something you already started, but it cannot have been posted online prior to the event. Unreleased chapters of posted works are not allowed and will not be considered as new.
Artists will have to submit a minimum of one completed artwork (colored/rendered) in their style. Detailed backgrounds are encouraged but optional. There is no maximum and you will be welcome to create more for your claimed story (additional art will not be subjected to the minimum requirements). However, if you sign up to work on 2 separate fics, please note that the minimum requirements will apply to both fics. This means you will be expected to submit 2 completed artworks, one for each story.
Writers will have a minimum word count of 2.5k, as determined after the interest check. There is no maximum on the final word count, so write away! If you are writing a long fic and it is incomplete by the final date, that is alright as long as what is posted meets the minimum word count.
Both SFW and NSFW content will be allowed. However, the Discord server will be divided between SFW and NSFW channels to ensure all discussions take place in the right spaces. All NSFW channels will be age-restricted.
All content must be tagged correctly to ensure the comfort of all participants. The event is a safe space for everyone.
Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in a removal from the event.
Discord will be used for all communications, including announcements and check-ins. An account is required in order to participate in the event.
Be kind and respectful; harassment, bullying, or abuse of any sort will not be tolerated.
